CROCODOX
Project description
The CROCODOX project (ChROmium COating Damage vs. Oxidation) ambitions are to provide a generic method, combining advanced numerical and experimental approaches, to investigate the effect of damaged protective coatings in severe environments and demonstrate a global method for accelerated qualification path combined with advanced predictive methodology. Advanced experimental testing and characterization, from microstructures/microchemical and the related mechanical properties evolutions will be performed. Advanced predictive thermochemical and thermomechanical modelling will be developed and exploited for structure integrity and safety assessment will be addressed.
