The decision-making body of CONNECT-NM is the General Assembly (GeA), where each Beneficiary is represented by one member.

The Executive Board (ExB), composed of all work package leaders (including the Coordinator), is responsible for implementing GeA decisions, proposing procedures and solutions, and ensuring the overall functioning of the partnership. Each work package leader, supported by advisors and collaborators, manages the tasks within their work package, ensuring timely implementation, compliance with procedures, and progress monitoring.

The Management Support Office (MSO) provides transversal support for the partnership’s daily operations.

CONNECT-NM includes 4 advisory bodies with different purposes and scopes:

1. The Scientific Advisory Board (SAB): made up of internationally recognised experts, the SAB monitors the partnership’s progress as a whole and provides input on scientific and technical strategy.
2. The Innovation and Exploitation Group (IEG): focuses on enhancing the exploitation potential of funded projects, advising on strategic orientations to boost innovation. Its creation reflects the strong industrial involvement in the partnership.
3. The Board of Regulators (BoR) and the Board of Technical Safety Organisations (BoTSO): through biannual meetings, the BoR provides guidance to projects from a regulatory perspective and a nuclear safety point of view. The BoTSO advises on safety research needs, validation activities, benchmarking and code assessment priorities, and the suitability of datasets and experimental programmes for regulatory or pre‑normative use.
4. The Evaluation Committee (EvaCo) is created for each open call to manage the proposal evaluation process, ensuring fairness and transparency. It is composed of independent experts covering all research areas and, based on the reports of three external and independent reviewers per proposal, produces the ranking of proposals to be submitted to the GeA of approval.
