Applications are now open for the fourth edition of the European School on Nuclear Materials Science (ESNMS 2026), taking place in Cargèse (Corsica, France) from 29 March to 4 April 2026.
Deadline to apply is 11 January 2026!
ESNMS 2026 will provide a comprehensive overview of the state of the art in nuclear materials science, with a programme covering:
- Multiscale modelling from advanced electronic structure theory to continuum modelling and sophisticated experimental characterization of materials phenomena in the nuclear materials science context.
- A dive into all types of nuclear materials: structural (metallic and ceramics), functional and fuel materials.
- Lectures on materials, methods and techniques, as well as case studies on issues of interest for the nuclear materials field.
This edition is co-organised by the Energy Division of CEA (France) and the Politecnico di Milano (Italy) within the CONNECT-NM co-funded European partnership on Nuclear Materials.
