CONNECT-NM has reached an important milestone for European nuclear materials research. Following a highly competitive cascade funding call, 17 projects have been approved, reflecting both strong interest and the high scientific quality of the proposals received.

The selected projects cover key areas including advanced materials qualification, digital tools, structural integrity, fuels, corrosion, irradiation effects and long-term operation. Together, they strengthen research-to-application pathways and contribute to innovation and harmonisation in nuclear materials research across Europe.
