The ENHARMONY project (The Enterprise for the Normalisation and Harmonisation of Molten salt cOrrosion tests for Nuclear energy) aims to address a critical challenge in the deployment of Molten Salt Reactors: the lack of standardized corrosion testing protocols for candidate structural materials. The focus lies on developing and validating harmonized guidelines for corrosion testing in molten salts to enable accelerated qualification of materials. A materials’ standardization roadmap and a code of practice will be delivered, to be submitted as formal proposals to international standardization organizations.
