In the end of March, CONNECT-NM representatives attended the Sustainable Nuclear Energy Technology Platform (SNETP) Forum in Madrid, engaging with colleagues from all over the European nuclear materials community.
The event focused on recent scientific and technological developments in advanced nuclear technologies, including SMRs and AMRs, safety, non-electric applications, long-term operation (LTO), and improved NPP performance.
The discussions also showed how these innovations can support climate change mitigation and strengthen cooperation among Europe through shared R&D priorities.
The Forum turned into a great opportunity to exchange ideas, meet partners, and discuss ongoing work in nuclear materials research and education
